For those doubts that swirl all around us,
For those lives that tear at the seams,
We’re not what we’ve seen,
For this dance we’ll move with each other.
There ain’t no other step than one foot,
Right in front of the other.
There’s so many wars we fought,
There’s so many things we’re not,
But with what we have,
I promise you that,
We’re marching on.
-One Republic, Marchin’ On
Is there anywhere else to go but on and on? One cannot remain static and expect to obtain their soul’s purpose. So I’m continuing my march to where I need to be. I know things are changing inside me. I see and feel the world a bit differently than when I began this blog (such a short time, yet feels so long ago). I’m reacting to things differently than before, accepting and moving on with things that cannot be changed. My work environment is changing a bit, and although I’m concerned, I’m being forgiving to my employment and empowering to myself. Yesterday at work actually kind of sucked for me, but I owned it and moved on. My relationships keep blossoming and evolving into beautiful things, and I’m celebrating that happiness. Despite whatever may happen, I know my path now and I will continue to stay on it, one foot in front of the other.
