Workin’ hard to get my fill
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin’ anything to roll the dice
Just one more time
Some will win
Some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on
– Journey, Don’t Stop Believin’
I know it’s an old song, probably even cliche at this point, but it’s my mantra for the week. Besides, I can’t listen to it without bursting into song and giving it my all, which always perks my moods up. It probably is the best Karaoke song ever. Haha.
The past couple of days have been hectic and crazy, since Valentines Day is the most popular holiday for massage therapists. I busted my butt Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Then yesterday, I had a happy day off getting everything ready for a nice evening out with my fiance. (This is why, again, Motivational Monday has turned into Too Busy Monday so it’s Tuesday Now.) 🙂
The past couple of days I’ve been listening to my intuition about making it on my own in the massage world, and I’ve been getting some news, good and cautious. Then yesterday, I ran into three clients and got some good info about places to set up. I’m far, far away from striking out on my own, but I think the universe is telling me I’m at least going in the right direction. And those signs are what I can’t stop believing in. I have to have faith, and keep my faith in myself alive.
Also on my agenda this week is my first day of physical therapy for my knee. Although every week I’m getting better, I still have to hold on to hope that I’ll be perfectly ready for gardening in the Spring. So I’m going to hold onto that feeling of hope and joy of being healed. Don’t stop believing, and keep the faith alive.
